(Published Friday, Apr 24, 2015) Updated at 10:33 AM PDT on Friday, Apr 24, 2015 Antioch police are warning the community about a man in a red, 2-door Toyota truck trying to entice elementary school students into his vehicle. A man, possibly Asian, in his 30s with dark hair and no facial hair, pulled alongside a fifth grade student on Thursday morning trying to get the child in his truck, according to a letter sent by the Belshaw Elementary School principal.

The student ignored the man, but he continued to drive northbound on Roosevelt Lane and pulled into the school drive, the principal s letter said. The man again asked the student to get in his car, but the student started running. At that point, the suspect drove away.

According to Antioch police, multiple people have filed similar complaints.
