Emergency services were called just after 2.20pm to the incident at Setch, near King’s Lynn. An East of England Ambulance spokesman said: “An ambulance crew and ambulance officer attended to a woman, believed to be in her 50s. “Thankfully, she had no obvious injuries following the low speed collision, but was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a precautionary measure.”

Traffic is now returning to normal on the busy road between Lynn and Downham market.

Earlier, bus companies Lynx and Stagecoach warned of delays to services as traffic came to a standstill and long queues built up.
