Car dragged along motorway for four miles after truck driver has no idea it is stuck under his HGV
A driver was dragged along the motorway for four miles in a battered car after his vehicle got wedged beneath a huge lorry. The HGV driver seemed to have no idea he was pulling the car along, as a man sat inside helpless, with the airbags inflated, as he was dragged along the busy highway. Despite other drivers shouting and beeping their horns at the HGV, it failed to stop for four miles after the car collided with it on the I-15 in San Bernardino, in the USA.

The driver was left with no option but to wait inside the car, which had a shattered windscreen and buckled bonnet, until the truck finally stopped. Brian Steimke who was also travelling along the I-15, spotted the disaster and filmed as he approached the stricken maroon Nissan.
As he got close the car driver appeared to signal for help, as he frantically waved his arms and shouted: “Stop! He’s not stopping.”
The truck then began to slow down and stop, thanks to other drivers blocking his path ahead.

Mr Steimke walked up the cab and asked the truck driver why he was travelling so far without stopping.
As the pair argued, the driver replied that he didn’t know the car was trapped beneath him as he drove along the busy carriageway.
The video then shows the stricken driver climbing out of the shattered shell of the car.
Mr Steimke’s footage has been watched nearly 900,000 times since he uploaded it to Facebook just 15 hours ago.
