Drivers escape injuries after morning motorway crash

THE DRIVERS of a lorry and a car both escaped injuries after a crash on the motorway earlier today. Firefighters from various stations across Berkshire rushed to the scene, near Junction 10 of the M4, shortly after 10am. Thames Valley Police officers were also called to the scene but when they arrived it immediately became clear neither driver was hurt in the collision.

Paramedics were on their way to the site but police officers told them to stand down. Both vehicles sustained damage in the crash and a recovery operation is underway. A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “It was a damage only road traffic collision between a lorry and a car.

“Recovery are on the scene at the moment.

We were called at around 10am and police arrived at the incident at 10.13am.”
