Firefighters called after HGV lorry crashes into house in Taunton

FIREFIGHTERS were called after a HGV lorry collided with a house in Taunton[1]. Two fire appliances and a rescue tender from Taunton were mobilised at around 8.40am today (May 19) after reports of a crash on Manor Road in Taunton. Crews confirmed on arrival that a HGV lorry had collided with a house and firefighters made the vehicle safe.

Western Power were requested to attend due to an electric cable on the roof of the lorry and BT were requested to repair damaged telephone lines.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.
