A406 North Circular crash: Road reopens almost six hours after crash

The A406 North Circular has reopened nearly six hours after a man was left critically injured in a pileup. The road was closed between the Waterworks and Charlie Brown’s Roundabout after the crash happened at 12.40pm today (July 17) between a flatbed lorry, a car and a van.
[2] It was reopened at 6.30pm, and all vehicles involved have been removed from the carriageway.

A London Ambulance Service[3] (LAS) spokesman said they flew one man “as a priority to a major trauma centre”. ALSO READ: A406 closed after serious crash between a van, a flat-bed lorry and a car
[4] The crash has caused severe disruption across the area – including roads to and from the M11 and A10.

The eastbound carriageway has been closed owing to the serious accident, while the westbound is down to one lane.
