Motorcycle and lorry involved in crash in Outwood

A motorbike and a lorry have been involved in a crash in Outwood this afternoon (Monday). The two vehicles collided in Miller’s Lane just after 4pm between the junctions with Scott’s Hill and Brickfield Road. There have been reports on Twitter that the collision was “serious” however a Surrey Police spokeswoman said there are not thought to have been any serious injuries, so police were not involved beyond the initial call.

READ MORE: Funeral held for much-loved and respected Outwood gypsy[2] A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said that the call came in at about 4.10pm and that, as of 5pm, an ambulance and paramedic car were still at the scene as their crews assess the motorcyclist. He added that the motorcyclist was fully conscious and walking around however he is still being assessed so it is unclear at this stage what injuries he has suffered.
