Vintage vehicle headed to Iola involved in crash; 2 injured

File photo (WLUK/Eric Peterson) NEW LONDON (WLUK) — Two men were hospitalized after the vintage vehicle they were driving to the Iola Old Car Show and Swap Meet was involved in a crash. New London police say the crash happened just before 8 a.m. on Hwy.

54. A 1930 Chevrolet[1] had just turned to go west on Hwy.

54 from Hwy. S when a 2002 Dodge Stratus hit it from behind.

The 1930 Chevrolet went into the ditch and rolled over. The driver, a 66-year-old man from Hortonville, and the passenger, a 68-year-old man from Appleton, were thrown from the vehicle. They were taken to the hospital; police did not know what kind of injuries they had.

The driver of the other car, a 38-year-old man from Green Bay, was not hurt.

The crash is still being investigated.
