‘Miracle’ escape for woman with pushchair as van crashes into church

A woman pushing a pushchair ‘escaped death’ after an HGV collided with a van and crashed into the gates of a church – pulling down bricks and metal gates. The postal delivery lorry smashed through the railings of The Redeemed Christian Church of God on Oldham Road, Newton Heath[1] . The pastor of the church said no-one was badly injured because ‘November is the month of miracles’.

However, bricks and large pillars were piled outside the front door of the church. Metal gates had also been ripped out and bent in the crash, which happened on Wednesday afternoon, November 9.

“There was a woman pushing a pushchair and she narrowly escaped the accident, and death. It’s just God that saved that woman. I didn’t actually get to see her but it is a miracle that she wasn’t hurt.

He said November is the month of miracles at the church and this was one of those instances. The woman escaped uninjured. Members of the church will not be able to use the rear entrance to get into the church.
