A car has been involved in a crash with a lorry near Folkestone

Firefighters have freed a person trapped in their car after an accident involving a lorry on a road near Folkestone. Crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called out at 2.08pm this afternoon (February 23) to the A20 just before the Roundhill Tunnels on the London bound carriageway. A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival crews found a person trapped in their car, and they worked with paramedics to transfer them to the ambulance, their care was placed with the SECAmb paramedics. “Crews made the scene safe.” If you see or hear about anything you think we should be covering, call the newsdesk on 01892 239042.
