THESE dramatic pictures show the incredible moment a car became trapped between the kerb and a lorry after a crash. Emergency services rushed to the scene in Brownhills High Street yesterday afternoon (Monday, February 13) at around 1.30pm to reports of a crash between a lorry and a Peugout 206. An ambulance and a community paramedic attended.

One patient was walking around and she, a woman in her 30s, was taken to Walsall Manor as a precaution. West Midlands Fire Service sent two engines with five firefighters in each from Bloxwich and Aldridge. No persons were trapped and firefighters were not needed to cut anyone free.

Sarah Louise Harvey, who took these photos, Tweeted while the incident was ongoing: “Long delays on brownhills high street due to a collision. Police are now on scene, avoid if possible.”

She later added: “Lorry has now been moved on Brownhills High Street, traffic is flowing freely again.”
