A LOCKERBIE woman who died two weeks after a horror smash on the Dumfries bypass has been named by cops. Yvonne Blackman, 66, of Dalton, passed away at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow yesterday.

Her white Toyota was involved in a crash with a white Daf recovery lorry and grey BMW on February 8.

Yvonne was initially taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with serious spinal and chest injuries. She was later transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

The BMW driver, a 56-year-old man from Carlisle, and the lorry driver, a 33-year-old man from Dongan, Ayr, were both uninjured in the crash. Police Scotland said the Procurator Fiscal has been informed.
