Man taken to hospital after crash involving car and lorry

A MAN was taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a lorry. The incident happened at around 12.25pm today (Friday, February 10). It happened on High Street in Dragonby and emergency services were called to the scene.

Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said a male passenger was medically trapped in the car and was released by firefighters. He was then helped from the vehicle by firefighters and paramedics and was taken to hospital by ambulance. The fire crew used hand tools and stabilisation equipment and the car’s battery was disconnected.
