Road reopened after lorry comes off the carriageway and end ups in a field near Faringdon

THE ROAD has reopened after a lorry came off the A420 and ended up a field this morning near Faringdon. Police closed the road westbound between Buckland Road and London Street to make way for recovery after it happened about 7am. The road was reopened briefly immediately after the crash but was closed again to recover the vehicle.

South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher said they were not called to the crash after police said the driver was uninjured.
