Staines town centre road closures after teenage cyclist seriously injured in collision with HGV

A teenage cyclist was serious injured after colliding with an HGV in Staines[1] . The incident took place at the junction of Elmsleigh Road and Thames Street just before 3pm on Thursday (February 16). The 17-year-old boy was taken by ambulance to St George’s Hospital in Tooting with serious leg injuries.

Police[2] investigators were on the scene and road closures were expected to remain for a number of hours.
