Traffic officers slams lorry drivers who took photos of fatal crash on A13

A TRAFFIC officer with Essex Police has expressed his disgust at lorry drivers who took photographs of a fatal road traffic scene on the A13. Police Sergeant Colin Sheard made the comments on Twitter as he attended the traffic scene on the slip road onto the A13 in Grays. A male died on Thursday after a collision with a lorry.

PS Heard said: “Appalled by professional HGV drivers slowing down at the scene of this RTC on the A13 and taking photos on their phones. “NIP in the post”. An NIP is a Notice of Intended Prosecution.
