Two killed in grisly road crash Bodaboda and Lorry accident

Two men were yesterday killed on the spot at the Makutano Trading Center in Mwea-West Sub-County; Kirinyaga County after the boda boda they were travelling on was hit by a lorry along Makutano-Sagana road. An eyewitness, Mr Maina Kamau, said that the motorcycle rider was trying to overtake a vehicle that had stalled on the road when he lost control and got hit by the lorry that was moving in the same direction.

Also Read: KMSF rally around family as navigator Mbuthia dies[2] The accident that happened near Kaminji Primary School is not a first, according to residents, who said children crossing the road are in danger of being hit by speeding vehicles.

Mr Kamau, who is also the school’s chairman, urged authorities to erect bumps at the area, adding that one pupil in the school was killed in a crash at the same spot.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to Murang’a Mortuary.
