Watch: Audi driver jams on brakes in front of HGV and flips middle finger

Shocking footage has emerged of an Audi driver jamming on his brakes in front of a HGV and then flipping the FINGER. The convertible car undertakes the lorry on a roundabout before stopping – a highly dangerous act because the heavy vehicle is unable to come to a halt as fast. And the driver of the Audi is not finished – he swears at the lorry driver before getting out his phone at the wheel and taking a photo.

The driver has been reported to police. The video, which was uploaded to Facebook by Idiot UK Drivers Exposed[1] has been shared over 800 times and attracted over a thousand comments.

The lorry driver said: “Remember HGVs can not pull off fast. Idiot Audi driver comes onto roundabout at high speed after I ‘ve set off (which was clear) and blasts his horn at my nearside.

“He then comes around inside and brake checks me! He then gets his phone and takes a picture of me whilst he’s driving.” Several fellow lorry drivers shared their frustration.

Andy Espie wrote: “I love this… someone else makes a mistake, but yet always give you the fingers! “I’m a lorry driver… so many stupid risks are taken to get past us.” And Jeremy Strutt wrote: “Always in such a hurry, but suddenly they have enough time to stop and hold up an HGV.

“Then they’ll gun it to the supermarket and wonder why the shelves are empty.” Ali Zaman pointed out that if the Audi driver had been caught, he would have faced a ?200 fine and six points on his licence.

“We all know who the loser in this case is now don’t we?” he said. But Greg Ball warned people not make assumptions.

“In my experience drivers pull out and do so knowing the cars will stop for them.

“We don’t know how fast the Audi driver was going and we don’t know if the lorry pulled out dangerously.”

The incident occurred where the A160 and A1077 meet in Ulceby, Lincolnshire.
