Overturned lorry causes traffic chaos on busy M876 as police scramble to close road

Officers are on the scene where the truck is lying on its side

AN overturned lorry has brought traffic to a standstill on one of Scotland’s busiest motorways. Cops have raced to the scene on the M876 where the Asda truck is on its side. Officers were quick to close off the stretch of road while they cleared debris.

And they confirmed that nobody was injured in the incident. A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We are currently still attending the scene. “Nobody has been injured and the road is still closed while officers clear debris.”
