Man, 67, suffers serious injuries in Cambridgeshire road rage attack

A 67-year-old has been left beaten and bruised after being set upon in a road rage attack in Cambridgeshire. Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened in Ramsey Road, Pondersbridge, at around 10.40pm on Friday 2 March. Victim Philip Wetherilt was driving a Ford Transit in icy conditions when he clipped a silver pick-up truck, knocking the wing mirror off.

The truck driver responded by pulling him out of his vehicle and hitting him in the face several times – leaving him with serious injuries which required hospital treatment. The offender is described as white with short brown hair. He fled in his truck.
