Recovery truck involved in three-vehicle motorway collision

A recovery truck was involved in a three vehicle collision on the M6 in Cheshire earlier today. The vehicle, along with a light goods vehicle and a car, were involved in the collision between junction 19, Knutsford, and junction 18, Middlewich and Holmes Chapel. One lane of southbound carriageway had to close for around 20 minutes while recovery work was undertaken.

No one was injured in the collision.

A Cheshire Police[1] spokeswoman said: “We were called to a three vehicle collision reported between junction 19 and 18 at 11.57am. It involved an LGV, a car, and a recovery vehicle. “It appears no one was injured and officers had left the scene, with the motorway reopened by 12.13pm.”
