Investigators release name of motorcyclist killed in crash with pickup truck

Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole said the victim of a motorcycle crash on Sunday has been identified as 32-year-old Ryan Quick of Branch. MASON COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — The victim of a motorcycle crash in Mason County has been released. Investigators have identified the driver of the motorcycle as 32-year-old Ryan Quick of Branch.

Quick died after rear-ending a pickup truck that was stopped at the top of hill in Sherman Township. It happened in the 3100 block of Reek Road, between Dewey and Sugar Grove, in Sherman Township around 12:19 p.m. Sunday.

Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole said Quick was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The driver of the pickup truck has been identified as 28-year-old David Baker of Fountain.

Baker was not injured in the crash.
