A120 CLOSED after lorry overturns between Stansted and Dunmow

The A120 is CLOSED westbound after a lorry overturned this afternoon (March 11). It happened between the junction for the B1256 at Dunmow and Stansted Airport at around 2pm. According to Essex County Fire and Rescue Service the truck has shed 20 tonnes of cement blocks across the carriageway.

We are aware of an incident on the #A120 affecting traffic heading from #GreatDunmow towards #Stansted.

Colleagues at @EssexPoliceUK and @ECFRS are on scene, with the road blocked at present, and we are sending additional resources to assist.

Three fire crews have been sent to the scene and traffic is queuing for around three miles.
