MORE dogging hotspots in Lincolnshire revealed

More dogging hotspots in Lincolnshire have been revealed online. Enthusiasts have been busy listing their favourite places across the county to enagage in their hobby, with various laybys, car parks and quiet spots making the grade. The website Swinging Heaven shows all of the recommended spots in Lincolnshire and we’ve looked through the website to bring you the latest additions to the list along with the most popular places.

So, if you’re popping out for a drive late at night, these spots are some of the spots you may want to avoid. While it widely believed that dogging is illegal, the law states that isn’t – though police will take swift action if the naughty antics start offending people.

Here is a list of the new spots in Lincolnshire:

Brough Layby The website states that just north of Newark on the way to Lincoln there are a couple of laybys on the side of the road called brough layby.

This attracts mainly men, such as truck drivers, who will pretend to go for a wee on the side of the road. They are looking for something else though, according to this user, and will either invite you down a grass bank or into their vehicle. A46 Lincoln Road

Apparently Lincoln Road has a spot popular with doggers. If you go off the A46 to Lincoln Road, about a half a mile down, then take the first right and follow the road all the way to the end – you’ll find the spot. This gets busy after 10pm and onwards into the night.

Skegness

One user has said that they like to park up at a car park in Gibraltar Point to meet up with like-minded people. The nature reserve is located right on the Lincolnshire coast, just south of Skegness.

Lincoln Between Newark and Lincoln[1] is a very popular dogging spot – Stapleford Woods.

There are two different car parks about a minute from each other, just off the main road leading through Stapleford Woods. The viewpoint, near the Lincolnshire Showground[2]. It’s about 3 miles north of Lincoln, off the A15 – take a left turn before you get to the new roundabout.

Boston Head for the infamous laybys on the A17 between Boston[3] and Sleaford.

Dogging in Stamford[4] takes place regularly at a gravelled car park near The Cattle Market. The car park is on the George side of the Meadows.

The site goes on to say: “We have also been tipped off about  Ryhall Road near Gwash Way, but we can’t vouch for it ourselves.” Where else in Lincolnshire is popular with doggers? It continues on to say other sites worth exploring in Lincolnshire are both laybys on the road that runs between the A15 and the A607 at Harmston – south of RAF Waddington.

In and around Grantham, the site recommends either Queen Elizabeth Park, in the woods along the river, or Five Gates near Belmont Tower. Theddlethorpe Beach which is just north of Mablethorpe is also said to be top drawer. Laughton Woods has become a popular site for such activity – there is apparently a nature walk car park between Scotter and Susworth that many are using.

Hartsholme Country Park in Lincoln has recently garnered much attention and is said to be ‘a good site to go to’ to enjoy a late-night excursion with ‘lots of hidden bushes’. Those willing to venture outside of the county’s capital can apparently have a good time down Washingborough’s Five Mile Lane – swingers say there’s a ‘quiet car park down a long track’ for interested parties.

Around four miles outside of Louth[5] on a road going towards Wragby, you’ll find Bluestone Heath Road. There’s a long layby behind a cluster of trees which is said to be ‘fairly busy at weekends’.

One enthusiastic member of the website invites all comers to Bourne Woods where they’ll be waiting.

There’s said to be a new place by the dyke at Tydd St Giles. Drive up Middle Broad Drove from the community centre, turn left at the bungalow on the right, barn on the left and go to the end to the small bridge. There are long river banks, a wooded area or open fields with lots of room for activity.

But it appears to only be safe to do after 9pm from Thursday through to Saturday. There is a large car park behind the Spa shop in Chapel St Leonards where couples are said to go. Apparently you ‘just flash your headlights and if they flash back, it’s time to play’.

The cycle paths between Skellingthorpe[6] and Harby are also popular and seem to see ‘some action’ according to one member.

The Cafe Amore car park at Caneby Corner is ‘getting busier’ on Sunday nights after 10pm.

Plenty of people are said to gather by the hedges just past North Marsh Road at midnight midweek with lots of couples finishing in a park or garden.

Boultham Park[7] woods, just off the cycle track, is said to be a ‘very good spot’ and busy.
