Motorcyclist injured after crash involving Daf truck on A48 in Gloucestershire

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a collision with a truck on the A48 in Gloucestershire. The accident happened at around 12.35pm in Minsterworth, near Bury Lane and the village hall. It blocked the road for a while, but it has since been cleared.

A spokesman for Gloucestershire police said: “At 12.44pm we were informed by the ambulance service that they were in attendance at a collision on the Main Road at Minsterworth involving a motorbike and a Daf truck. “The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered slight injuries and the road was partially blocked.” A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at just after 12.35pm to Minsterworth after a road traffic collision involving a motorbike. 

“Paramedic teams treated one male patient at the scene and took him on to hospital for further treatment.”
