Motorcyclist suffers spinal injuries in collision involving truck – Gazette Live

A motorcyclist suffered spinal injuries and a fractured pelvis following a collision with a truck.

The 21-year-old was hurt after his Honda motorcycle was involved in a collision with a Mercedes Tipper truck on Yearby Bank.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital following the accident where he remains whilst undergoing treatment for his injuries.

Cleveland Police is now appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened at about 3.45pm on Monday.

A spokeswoman said: “Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the collision is asked to contact PC Martin McArdle from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 129070.”
