Overturned lorry among two crashes on busy M4 junctions

A road off the M4[1] at Margam[2] was closed in two places on Tuesday evening after separate incidents close to each other. Junction 38 was closed through to Harbour Way (A4241) because of what an overturned cement lorry. Emergency services were quickly at the scene.

A spokesperson from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews from Port Talbot are currently in attendance at a road traffic collision involving a heavy goods vehicle on the roundabout off Junction 38, M4.”

The fire service was called to the incident at 3:54pm. There was also a second incident on the J38 entry and exit roundabout. A spokesperson for the fire service said a motorcyclist was receiving medical attention in relation to that incident.

The Wales Air Ambulance has also been seen at the scene of this crash.
