Pickup truck driver taken to Addenbrooke's after landing in ditch – Cambridge News

A driver was injured on Saturday (July 20) after their pickup truck landed in a ditch near March.

Police say officers from Peterborough attended the scene in the afternoon and the driver was taken to Addenbrooke’s for treatment.

In a social media post Policing Fenland said officers were assisted by members of the nearby rugby club.

Pictures show a silver truck facing the wrong way at a right angle to the road.

Tyre tracks are also visible for several metres along the grass verge.

A spokesman said: “Peterborough officers this afternoon attended an RTC in March. Driver taken to hospital with injuries by @EastEnglandAmb & subsequently reported for offences.

“Thank you to the public from the rugby club for stopping and helping.”

The nature of the offences are not known.
