A30 closed after lorry crashes with caravan and overturns

A lorry has overturned on the A30 at Cheriton Bishop after crashing with a caravan and four other vehicles – and the roads has been closed in both directions. Video from the scene shows all three emergency services are attending the incident – and a number of people are out of their vehicles and on the carriageway. Roads and traffic monitoring service Inrix first reported the incident at 7.47am.  In an update at 8:5am, Inrix reported: “A30 in both directions closed, stationary traffic due to accident and serious accident, an overturned lorry, a caravan and four other vehicles involved between Woodleigh Junction ( Cheriton Bishop ) and Fingle Glen (Pathfinder Village).

Play now “The road has now been fully shut in both directions after a collision at around 07:35, affecting traffic between Okehampton and Exeter.
