A548 reopens on Deeside Industrial Park after HGV carrying paper overturns

An overturned heavy goods vehicle on Deeside Industrial Park led to heavy traffic in the area. The HGV carrying paper overturned just before noon on Friday, with motorists urged to avoid the A548 near the roundabout at Shotwick Road and Parkway. The incident led to gridlock in and around the Industrial Park, and congestion in other parts of Deeside.

North Wales Police confirmed just after 3.30pm that the A548 near the roundabout had opened.
