Adams break-in suspect allegedly dumped raw chicken inside pickup truck before fleeing

ADAMS — A 32-year-old man allegedly used a ladder to peer into a woman’s window late Saturday night and dumped raw chicken inside a pickup truck parked outside her home before fleeing.

The Berkshire Eagle, citing a police report on the incident, reported Jacob Levesque broke the woman’s window while on the ladder. The pickup truck belonged to a friend of the woman and Levesque allegedly stole a wallet and cannabis that had been left inside.

Police found Levesque’s car in the American Legion lot on Forest Park Avenue. The woman’s friend arrived and told police the suspect had returned some of the stolen items and was still in the area.

Levesque was arrested a short time later after he emerged from woods on Fisk Avenue.

Police reportedly found an unlicensed stun gun in his car.

Levesque’s hostility toward the woman has escalated since late July, according to the police report.

The Eagle, citing court records, reported Levesque had restraining orders filed against him in 2007, 2017 and earlier this year.

During his arraignment, Levesque reportedly denied charges of nighttime breaking and entering to commit a felony, larceny under £250, illegal possession of a stun gun, nighttime breaking and entering a vehicle to commit a felony, and malicious destruction of property less than £1,200.

Levesque, according to the Eagle, was released on his own recognizance and ordered to stay away from the woman and her friend.

He is slated return to court for a pretrial hearing on Oct.
