AN ARMY vehicle has fallen off a the back of lorry in Fife causing travel chaos. The military crane was being transported southbound on the M90 when it crashed onto the motorway at around 12.40pm.

The two vehicles are now blocking both lanes of the motorway near Rosyth, causing huge tailbacks. The army motor – which appears to be a medium crane truck – is flipped on its side in the fast lane.

Motorists are being forced to use the hard shoulder to pass the incident.

The driver is out of the lorry and does not appear to be injured. Police are on the scene and have cordoned off the crash with cones. A spokesperson for the Force said: “We were called at 12.40pm to reports of a lorry overturned on the M90 southbound at the Rosyth turnoff.
