Today (August 20) is the final day early bird tickets are on offer, so don’t wait around any longer!

The epic truck event returned last year after a lull for a few years but the organisers tell us they are back to stay.

“It was fabulous being back home at Shepton Mallet last year,” said Truckfest creator Colin Ward. “I can still recall driving around the area in the early 80s looking for a date for a South West Truckfest when l came across the Bath & West Showground and then in 1985 (yes 1985) we launched Truckfest South West. “Unfortunately, we had a lull for a few years due to dates being unavailable at the Showground but last year we were back and we are back to stay.

“It’s great to be ‘back home’ because Shepton Mallet feels like home! “I pay homage to the 500 trucks that supported us on our return last year and thank them from the bottom of my heart.  “We are looking forward to this our second year back at Shepton and we’re delighted to see so many trucks already booked in.

“Thanks to everyone for your continued support.”
