Long delays remain following earlier broken-down HGV near Queensferry
ALL lanes on a busy Flintshire A-road have reopened after reports of a broken-down vehicle sparked early morning traffic problems. Traffic Wales reported shortly after 7am that, heading eastbound on the A494 near to Queensferry, a broken-down HGV was blocking lane one of the Queensferry / Sandycroft Turn Off to the B5441 Welsh Road (Drome Corner). Motorists were advised to take care whilst passing as delays were expected in the area.
**UPDATE**#A494 Lane 1 Eastbound just after Queensferry, broken down vehicle safely removed.
All lanes now open.

The affected lane was closed off whilst recovery of the vehicle took place.
Residual delays remained shortly after the road was fully re-opened.
