Lorry park for sale at offers over £3m

A LORRY park on the M74 has gone on sale with the agent looking for offers in excess of GBP3 million. The Lockerbie Lorry Park at Hangingshaw near Johnstonebridge, between junctions 16 and 17, covers 12 acres and has 160 lorry parking bays with an additional area for trailer change-overs. The facility has a 24-hour cafeteria, a shop, a function suite with licensed bar and office accommodation, shower and changing facilities and a laundrette.

It also has 17 letting rooms and seven residential properties of which two are leased on long-term lettings and five used as self-catering holiday accommodation.
