Power tools and cash stolen from Taunton nursery in overnight burglary

An investigation has been launched after money and power tools were stolen from a nursery overnight. Avon and Somerset Police say the incident happened between 1-3am on Monday (August 26) at the nursery in Stoke Road, Taunton. The intruders forced entry via the main gate and then broke into offices on the premises.

Officers believe the suspects were on site for around an hour. The intruders stole a white Ford Ranger pick-up truck and loaded the vehicle with a large quantity of power tools and machinery. A force spokesman said the suspects left the area before returning to take more items.
