Serious injury after Ford Ranger truck crashes near Tewkesbury

Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision near Tewkesbury[1] and are appealing for witnesses to come forward. The crash happened at about 6.30pm on Sunday on the B4213 in Apperley, near the junction with School Lane, and involved a silver Ford Ranger truck. The driver, a 29-year-old local man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol.

Following surgery his condition was said to be stable.   The road was closed for several hours and diversions were in place as collision investigators worked at the scene.

Gloucestershire Constabulary[2] would like to hear from anybody who may have travelled along the B4213 in the Apperley area around the time of the incident and either witnessed it or saw the vehicle before the collision occurred. They would be particularly interested in any dash cam footage which might assist the investigation.
