What we know about police incident near Pensarn Beach

Police and paramedics were called to a serious medical incident near a beach. Witnesses reported a heavy police presence and ambulances[1] in a car park off Sea Road in Pensarn at around 3pm on Thursday Police said they were assisting medics with a “medical incident”.

Three police vehicles were parked surrounding a car at the scene with the Welsh Ambulance Service[2] confirming the incident involved a vehicle.

A spokesman said: “We were called today (August 22, 2019) at approximately 15:06 to an incident involving a vehicle on Marine Road, Pensarn. We responded with two emergency ambulances.” It is understood nobody was taken to hospital, with the ambulance service directing all enquiries to police.

A recovery truck was later seen taking a vehicle from the scene.
