Biker ends up wedged under bin lorry after crash in Penryn

A biker ended up wedged under a bin lorry after a crash. The collision between the truck and motorcycle happened in Greenwood Road, Penryn, just after 12.30pm today (Tuesday, September 3). Cornwall Air Ambulance was seen to land in the area but the police said the male biker suffered minor injuries.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “This was an RTC between a bin lorry and a motorcycle in Greenwood Road, Penryn. “It happened around 12.35pm today [3 September]. The motorcycle ended up wedged under the truck.

“The road was cleared by 2.15pm.”

A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.32pm about a collision involving a motorcyclist.

Our ambulance crew treated a male patient at the scene and discharged him.”
