Driver unloads truck in middle of Manhattan traffic

Stay in your lane, pal! A brainless truck driver stopped in the middle of a busy Upper East Side street and began unloading boxes like it was his own personal driveway, cops said in a tweet Wednesday. The spaced-out street clogger — who appears to be in a moving van on Third Avenue — infuriated drivers, who reported him to cops, according to the tweet.

“Some days we just have to shake our heads in disbelief,” the 19th Precinct tweeted, along with a photo of the man sandwiched between a bus and two lanes of traffic. “Didn’t think we had to say this but here goes… Unloading a truck in the middle of an avenue is not only illegal but also very dangerous!”

It adds, “We safely corrected this problem, thanks to Upper East Sider for alerting us.”

Police couldn’t immediately say whether the man was ticketed.
