New contracts to help double turnover at South Wales firm

A South Wales vehicle recovery and truck distribution business has secured a number of new contracts which is expected to help double its turnover. Caldicot Group’s latest projects include work for Newport-based Forest Traffic Services, Blackwell-based H W Martin and Reading-based Chevron Traffic Management. As a result of the contracts, turnover is expected to double from GBP3m to GBP6m.

Gavin Edwards, managing director of Caldicot Group, said: “Our strategy is to continue to grow in all sectors of our business, specifically targeting recovery truck sales and breakdown recovery contracts.

“These major contract wins will significantly contribute to reaching our target of a GBP7m turnover in 2020.

We are successfully maintaining and growing contracts not just in Wales but across the UK.”
