A18 closed after lorry containing gas canisters overturns and sheds load

The A18 is currently closed through Keelby after a lorry overturned and shed its load. The driver has been taken to Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital as a precaution.

Emergency services were called to Keelby at 3.45am today following reports of an overturned lorry containing gas canisters. The road has been closed in both directions while Lincolnshire Police deal with the incident – but these should be removed shortly.
