Log Fire Pizza 'pulls out' of opening site at The Riverwalk in Durham

A pizza firm has pulled out of opening its first restaurant in Durham city. Log Fire Pizza Co was expected to open at The Riverwalk in March but bosses announced through social media they would no longer be opening. At present, the company serves up homemade pizza from a food truck at various locations across the North East.

A post on the Log Fire Pizza Facebook page said: “Just to let you know we won’t be opening at The Riverwalk. “But we still have the van on the road and we will be looking for other locations.” It would have been the latest business to open at the multimillion pound development that has included an Odeon Luxe Cinema, Lane 7 and Cosy Club.
