The new appointments bring the total number of staff to 174 over the four locations.

Managing director Robert Baxter said demand is high for the Dutch company’s trucks, with the DAF XF model voted Fleet Truck of the Year 2019 by Motor Transport magazine. He said: “The truck business is still being bolstered by the need for businesses to keep profitable, green, and potentially, Brexit-ready. “Chassis Cab is as always helping to match the right trucks to the right activities and keep trucks operating.

“It is still a family owned business that offers the optimal truck solution for the job, as most goods in the UK economy move by road, and the challenges facing the haulage industry vary greatly.

“We offer a reliable an all-inclusive service.”
