Truck Festival will reveal 50 artists including seven headliners tonight

Truck Festival are set to reveal their line-up for 2020 at 6pm tonight – and they’ve just let slip on Twitter they’ll be confirming SEVEN headliners; all three Main Stage headliners, three Market Stage headliners, and the Thursday night headliner. They’re part of 50 artists to be announced this evening when the Oxfordshire festival drops its first line-up poster for this summer’s event, set for 31st July – 2nd August.

In the last week, organisers have been sending out Truck-branded fortune cookies to fans. Truck announced their line-up by posting fans potatoes with band names written on last year, so with the cookies containing printed notes that read ‘Bombay Bicycle Club‘ and ‘The Kooks‘, we’d expect them to feature on the line-up poster revealed tonight.

Truck Festival raised GBP103,000 for charity last summer, besting their previous record by GBP30,000. The majority of this figure was raised by the numerous charities that work in the Feel Good Food Tent, which brought in an amazing GBP89,000. These food stalls, which help cater the event with a delicious assortment of food and drinks, are run by volunteers and donate 100% of its profits to charity.

It now means that Truck Festival has raised over GBP350,000 for local, national and international charities in the past six years. Festival organiser, Conor Burns, said: “Supporting charities has always been at the centre of Truck since the beginning; 2019 was an unforgettable year and to raise over GBP100,000, it’s amazing. Truck is one of a kind and we’re full steam ahead for 2020.”
