All lanes reopened after lorry and delivery van crash on A30

Traffic is backing up after a collision blocked the A30 near Truro. A witness said that an “earth-moving lorry” has hit the back of a delivery van near Carland Cross. He said the vehicles were travelling eastbound when they collided just after 4pm and the accident was “causing chaos”.

The crash involving a Parcelforce van and the tipper truck has blocked the eastbound lane near Zelah.

Traffic service Inrix said three cars and a lorry were involved and the road was blocked in both directions, but now the lanes have reopened although traffic in the area is still moving slowly.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: “This was a non-injury and all cleared now.”
