Harlow motorcyclist dies in collision with lorry

A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a lorry outside Harlow Truck Centre. The driver, a local man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics shortly before 8.30pm yesterday (Monday, April 20). Essex Police were called to reports of a collision outside Harlow Truck Centre, River Way.

The lorry driver is assisting detectives with their investigation. River Way was closed yesterday and only reopened this morning. A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has relevant dash cam footage and has not yet spoken to our officers is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting incident number 956 of 20 April.
