While all professional football in the UK has been put on hold due to coronavirus, two bin men had a quick game in the street for the neighbours to watch.

On their rounds in Sittingbourne, Kent, collecting recycling bins, the two refuse collectors come across a white football and begin having a kickabout on the residential road.

They pass the ball back and forth a couple of times before it bounces into the truck and the man wearing a yellow hi-vis top starts throwing it up in the air and spinning it in his hands.

The kickabout turns into a spot-kick and the men comically prepare for the penalty-taker to shoot

The game soon escalates, with the pair setting up a spot-kick with the back of the bin lorry as the goal.

This time the neon yellow dustbin man is in goal and, in a bid to foil his opponent, starts waving his arms in the air to put him off and miss the target.

He bobs up and down trying to anticipate when the penalty-taker, who takes a deep breath in preparation, will take the shot.

The man in orange overalls takes a deep breath before moving towards the ball to shoot and smashing it into the lorry

The man wearing orange hi-vis overalls slowly steps towards the ball and smashes it with the side of his boot.

The goalie, hindered by the blue bins to his right, just gets fingers to the ball but the kick is too powerful and it blasts through the sheeting and into the back of the lorry.

Celebrating his goal, the penalty-taker punches his fist in the air and gets back into the front of the lorry.

His co-worker can’t help but celebrate with him too, pointing his finger to the sky in appreciation.

In celebration, the goal-scorer runs off and punches the air before casually getting back in the truck to continue on the rounds
