A Derbyshire construction company has been selected to work on a new development in Markham Vale, off junction 29A of the M1. Goodward Construction, which has worked on a portfolio of projects across Derbyshire, has already begun work on the Chesterfield regneration site which will house new offices for HGV company Transcare 28 Ltd. Transcare 28 provides HGV repair and maintenance solutions throughout the Midlands and into South Yorkshire, offering onsite and workshop-based maintenance services for commercial vehicle operators.

This includes trucks, trailers, light commercial vehicles and public service vehicles. Goodward Construction's managing director, Simon Knighton said, "We are delighted to be working with the Transcare team again. "This time it's slightly challenging in the current climate, but we have been fortunate to be able to implement the new social distancing measures and our colleagues have been flexible to ensure we have a minimum number of people on site."
