Driver caught filming police on his mobile phone as they seized his friend's recovery truck

A motorist has received points on his license after he was caught filming the police on his phone while driving. The man had decided to record the police as they seized his friend's recovery truck for having no insurance. The Staffs Police RPU team were patrolling Stone on Thursday (May 7) when the incident took place.

Officers then took to social media to reveal they will both receive points on their licenses.

A spokesman said: "While seizing the Recovery Truck for no Documents or insurance. His mate decides to drive down and film the Police at work.  "Not a great idea as he was driving at the time.

So earned himself points of his own." Stafford Police also took to social media to thank The Roads Policing Team and say 'they will be back'. A spokesman said: "A massive thanks to The Roads Policing team for blitzing Stone last night.

"Intelligence lead Policing brought some amazing results and made Stone a safer place to drive.
